I finished my mirrored op sketches. I polished and styled my excel dashboard. It was not a very eventful day. It was mostly goodbyes and thank yous. I was happy that it was thank yous coming from my co-workers as well as myself. I felt like I did good work. I think the biggest thing I learned from this experience was that I am already very prepared to be an engineer. I learned a lot and it is hard to reflect on it all at once, but I'll try. I was already confident in my social skills and that they would help me in engineering. This internship helped solidify that confidence. I made friends and the managers and higher ups socialized with me more than some employees that had been there for a long time. I expected to be mostly on the sidelines and hidden away but I got to know a lot of different people and that definitely set me apart.
